Happy Thanksgiving

I just wanted to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving and offer a brief encouragement on something you might want to focus on today.

Thanksgiving is a national holiday that will be celabrated across the board by all walks of life, including atheists. As a result, people will be thanking their own deities for their provisions while over-stuffing their faces and watching the Lyons lose. It’s a great American tradition. But for the Christian believer, Thanksgiving should mean a lot more.

Don’t let yourself get caught up in the holiday traditions that are indistinguishable from the world. Make sure you acknowledge God in everything that you do.

“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” I Corinthians 10:31
